Words

We want to be understood that's why we want to contain the meaning in a collection of letter, in a word. It will serve as a jar of imageries, of meanings. So when you say 'ventriloquist' you can easily see the act, and laugh while your brain gets to access the funniest experience in relation to that.

We don't want to spend so much time acting things out just to tell our stories better. We don't need to spend so much energy, so that at the end you'd find out that you're thinking the different things. With words. things are much easier. The world is much comprehensible. Emotions can be easily expressed. With words.

But there are times when words just make things vague. A gaze can be enough to say your desire or dissatisfaction. You need to just look at the eyes of your friend, and she will understand. But with words, things can get so vague.

Not everyone has the right words to say. Some people have the ability to convey what they mean. Others don't have it. Instead of making things comprehensible, words are becoming things difficult to deal with, and truth more elusive.

Emotions are also playing their part in words. I think we're better at expressing some emotions over the other. Some are good at expressing their hate than their admiration. Some people grew up in a household with much more anger words than kind ones. Most people are easier to spit angry words over words of appreciation or being sorry.

Taleb said that the most important things shouldn't be explained. If things are really important, why bother explaining them? People might not always know what they want, but they for sure know what is important.

Let the gaze explain itself and make them feel that they are wanted and loved.

Show, don't tell, right?
