Courage

One day you'd find yourself unhappy about your work. You wrote it in a journal and waited for weeks for the best decision to come. You wrote the pros and cons of it. You considered the long term. You asked yourself, "what do I really want?"

The reply came as a form of thought. It said that you need to quit your job and move somewhere else. At the back of your head, you thought of wandering again, but your heart said you need to go home.

So you render that resignation without any assurance but a deep lesson on unyielding faith to God. Perhaps, he hears your prayers, and if anything, you know everything will still turn out well. On that day, it was not about what's wrong about your previous job. On that day, it was all about what you wanted; what you thought was best for you; what you thought God wants you to do.

Months of prayers have passed. The prayer is still clear, you want to be at that place, nowhere else. You wanted to get that position, nothing else. You make your prayers specific because once it is granted, you know it came from Him. You know he heard your plea. Even if your wallet gets thinner and patience gets shorter, you are firm that God will hear.

Today, God answers your prayer, but you are not surprised, because you have known it all since that day that God revealed the best that you deserve.
