While you are guarding your heart and enjoying life as it is, they will make you more alive and make you feel like there's nothing wrong in living for someone else's cause once in a while.

They will feel and show it. Hope that they don't fake it when they say that you are bits of sunshine in their pockets, that they trust you. Very much.

Some of them believe that ball is life. After the long day, you escape everything just to play. Over and over, till your energy wears out. And you are happy because it brings back the kid in you.

There are others who deserve a page in the book that you are writing. Several years of friendship gave that entitlement.

One of them you cared too much, because you found your soul in her. You stuck around,  thinking that she needed your help. And you are not exactly wrong. But you overdid it, she thought you crossed the line. Now she won't talk to you. Ever.

But there are a lot more who wait for your return. In every facebook post, every message they send, they say that you are badly missed. You were not aware how many lives you've touched, but it's now their turn to touch yours.

All of them will understand you, just as you understand that friends do come and go. Some of them are worth chasing, some deserve time for solitude. But you are happy on your own, and with the idea that someone greater loves you together with your imperfections.

 That's why in every friend that come and will probably leave, you give a great part of yourself. Some people will think you are out of your head in being selfless. Later on, they will do the same, and find that you don't lose , never,  when you give.
