Distraction
We get distracted by small things like the the noise of
people who chat not very far from us. We hate it when we try to study and then
a loud-mouth student will enter the library. Or the sudden gasp of breath by a
passer-by which tells of the difficult times they have.
In a middle of a sentence, when we try to go inside our
heads and search in all corners the words we wanted to say, we are distracted
because there are a lot of words to say. We find ourselves in the situation
where we have said a lot but failed to deliver what we really mean.
And even in hollowness, there is distraction: when
we try to get in our heads and find that the memories aren’t there. Proving
that even the lack of detail, one can still be overwhelmed.
But when something is too hard to bear and a butterfly visits. We stop everything and
stare. Yes, you still hold the pencil you have held for the past hour but you
stop what you’re doing. In an instant, that scene can inspire us to work
better.
In the morning that you slept( barely), and someone greets
with glee.
When a coffee tastes unusual in a good way, you’d give
yourself a sip and say that distraction is a gift.
