To Know, To Love

This is the takeaway from DLSU STCs celebration of the World Teachers Day:

" To know is not merely the product of an intellectual process, but rather the fruit of an experience, a personal contact; when it matures it is love."

Knowing is a means to establish a connection. Knowing more of person enables us to love them even better.

That's why, when we refuse connection, we are slowly walking closer to ignorance.

Not knowing what we are called to do (ignorance), makes a big room for confusion.

It entices us to easily dismiss new opportunities as burdens.

It makes us vulnerable to hating.
